Strangers

Maybe it's just me but when I go to Lowe's and need help the workers seem to run in the opposite direction. Yesterday (Sunday), Jon sent me to get a specific type of screw. I could not find it so I went hunting for an employee, with no luck. As I decide to try one more time on my own, a complete stranger comes up and starts to help me. He had no luck finding it either, but he came up with several alternatives-and managed to find the elusive employee "help". In the end they didn't have the correct screws but I also had to explain what a concrete screw was, so who knows. So the moral of the story...find a nice fellow customer and forget asking the employees for help.
